CORPUS CHRISTI – Police are looking for a man who they believe may have beaten a 3-year-old child leaving her with serious injuries. An arrest warrant has been issued for 22-year-old Julian Lopez.
He’s the boyfriend of a woman who called police saying Lopez had been watching her 3-year-old daughter earlier in the day while she went to work.
When she returned home early sunday morning to the 800 block of Omaha, Lopez quickly left, and that’s when she discovered the injuries.
Police say the child was covered from head to toe with cuts and bruises. She also had dried blood on her nose and her body.
The girl was taken to Driscoll Children’s Hospital and has since been released.
